Megan Prescott - Really Good Exposure
Hello…
Welcome! My name is Megan Prescott. I’m a writer, director, producer, and actor. I have over 20 years experience in television industry, starting with playing Katie Fitch, one of the lead roles in the BAFTA award-winning British TV drama ‘Skins’. Since then, I’ve worked both in front of and behind the camera extensively - in both UK and US television development and production departments, and I now run Really Good Exposure productions.
In 2023 I completed my directing training at the NFTS and since then I have done directing work for Paramount Plus, Yellow Dot Studios (Adam McKay’s Non Profit Media Organisation) and created my debut short film.
I wrote and starred in my debut solo theatre show ‘Really Good Exposure’ at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2024, where it won the Best Fringe debut award and was nominated for a BBC Popcorn Writer’s award. Really Good Exposure transferred to Soho Theatre, London, in September 2025, where it received multiple 5 star reviews and was awarded an OFFIE off west-end theatre award in March 2026.
I am incredibly passionate about supporting marginalised workers and their rights to safety and bodily autonomy. I am currently the chair of the board of National Ugly Mugs - a national charity organisation that works to reduce violence against marginalised workers. To learn more about N.U.M. and the incredible work they do, please visit their website here.

Current Projects
Headline Newds
Headline Newds is an 8 part series of short films that Jessica Riches, Bree Essrig and Megan Prescott co-created with Yellow Dot Studios - the organisation headed by Oscar-winning director, Adam McKay (The Big Short, Anchorman, Dont Look Up).
The films use innuendo-laden direct-to-camera addresses from adult performers to give [extremely] memorable explanations of hot-button issues relating to the climate crisis. They were broadcast on Youtube, Instagram, and Only Fans in an effort to get information about imminent climate crisis issues to the masses.

Really Good Exposure
After an award-winning, five star run at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe, Really Good Exposure had two sell out shows as part of Soho Theatre’s ‘Soho Rising’ project. It then came back to Soho in September 2025 for a two week run.
Really Good Exposure won an OFFIE off Westend theatre award for ‘Creation’ in February 2026.
Reviews for ‘Really Good Exposure’:
Past Theatre Projects:
$tripped! VAULTS Festival 2023 - In February 2023, I devised, co-wrote and starred in ‘Stripped!’ a Theatre-Cabaret show about the rights of marginalised workers. A sold out work in progress performance of ‘Stripped!’ was performed at The Glory, London, in March 2022 and received five star reviews. We received Arts Council funding to develop ‘Stripped!’ and were offered a run at The Vaults Festival in February 2023. The 90 minute show consisted of experimental, political cabaret-theatre, created by multi-disciplinary artists. Set in an East London strip club, $tripped! invited the audience to spend an evening with the performers at work. Simply existing as a sex worker and showcasing art inspired by true life experiences is a political act in itself and ‘Stripped!’ was created to encourage the public to support artists and workers in reaching new audiences and changing outdated, stigmatising perceptions.
Nasty (Put Some Clothes On) - A play that I created during my time on the Soho Writer’s Lab (2020) and The Bush theatre’s West London Playwright’s Group (2020) is currently in development. After receiving A.C.E. funding for our R&D period, we held a rehearsed reading of the first draft of Nasty in June 2021. Nasty is in ongoing development.
